The whole time I’ve been in Madagascar, I’ve had the desire to feel a zebu’s hump. It took a while, but I finally managed to find one I could touch. It was actually a zebu calf’s hump, and as I suspected, it was nice and squishy.
At the same time, there happened to be a passing zebu cart loaded with cassavas and 4 boys.

Hery kindly asked the boys if I could jump on the back of their cart and they laughed but agreed. I jumped on and rode for a few metres down the road much to the locals’ amusement (and then gave the boys some Ariary [local currency] to thank them for putting up with my strange request).
