Mole National Park

I had been keen to get back to a game reserve after spending a month in Thanda. The first one we visited was Mole (pronounced ‘Mo-Lay’) National Park.

Before going into Mole, we stopped at Larabanga and saw the oldest mosque in Ghana.

Then in Mole, I took an afternoon bushwalk and a morning game drive. Amongst other things, we saw eles splashing around in the water,

a bull ele tying his trunk around his tusk whilst peeing,

warthogs eating around our camp,

a track which you’d think would be a snake but is actually that of a monkey dragging its tail,
kob

and a cute little baby bushbuck whose mother left it all alone under a tree.
